TT #21

13 Things I didn't need to see last night.

1. The lady down the street dressed as a witch. The costume was very cute for a party with adults but not for taking the kids out trick or treating.

2. The little boy that fell in the street and skinned his knees. I felt so bad for him.

3. The older boys from down the street (18-19year olds) that were eyeing my daughter and her friends. They are 13 & 14 year olds. Those boys wanted to be hurt.

4. All the candy that I didn't need to eat! (I did anyway)

5. Halloween Four - my daughter didn't want to go to sleep after watching it.

6. Halloween Five - see above

7. The broken pumpkins all over the street. They look so sad when they're broken!

8. The silly string my daughter and her friends shot all over my back porch. My daughter will be cleaning up that tonight.

9. The mud they tracked all over my floors. (I cleaned that up while my daughter was complaining she couldn't sleep)

10. 11:30 then 12:00 go by without me going to bed. I was hoping for an early night.

11. The little girl that was sick at the end of my sidewalk. DH got to clean that up!

12. Very few scary costumes. What happened to being scary for Halloween?

13. Most of all, you hate to see it come to an end. I enjoy Halloween even though it may not sound like it. I love to decorate the house and see all the kids in costume especially the little ones.

Yeah, I hate seeing it come to an end, too.

We had good costumes this year, especially at the school parade. Lots of scary dudes. And a few whoopee cushions!!!

Happy TT, babe!

Great list. We had a kid get sick from eating too much candy too. Ick!

I had to work at the day job so I didn't get to see any trick or treaters. After reading this, I'm not sure that was a bad thing.
