How is it cats can be so soft and sweet, yet you know they're plotting your demise?
Here's an image for you: my mom was being evacuated during a fire about 14 years ago and had to walk a couple of miles with my cat in a pillowcase, crying at the top of her lungs, non-stop. She gave up and returned home - I think no shelter would take the howling wonder in. In the end it all turned out all right, but yes, I still apologize and often.
The LOLcats are awesome.

Sounds like you owe your mom big time.
I don't have a cat anymore, my dh and daughter are allergic but cats have unique personalities. I have often wondered how they manage to get so many people to me their servants.
